Welcome

Meet the future of European ICT Entrepreneurship

STARTIFY7 is a Horizon 2020 project from the European Commission aimed at training young future ICT entrepreneurs in Europe. It organizes 7 thematically focused Summer Academies in 7 different European cities that follow a lean-training structure and emphasize strong team-building as well as learning-by-doing processes. There are 4 Academies organized this summer in Twente (The Netherlands), Katowice (Poland), Thessaloniki (Greece) and Almeria (Spain).

Each academy focused on a different entrepreneurial subject:

IT-driven Social Entrepreneurship (Twente, The Netherlands) - focuses on identifying innovative solutions that will enhance social value creation and scalability of social enterprises.

Video Games (Katowice, Poland) - focuses on identifying innovative solutions that will enhance the probability of successful market entry with a new video game or game type.

Digital Transportation (Thessaloniki, Greece) – focuses on how different applications aim to provide innovative services relating to different modes of transport and traffic management and enable various users to be better informed and make safer, more coordinated, and 'smarter' use of transport networks.

Simulations, Virtual and Augmented Reality (Almeria, Spain) - will put emphasis on teamwork, hands-on learning activities, interactive workshops and industry visits.

The 3 best teams of each academy have been invited to join a 3 day accelerator Bootcamp, focused on intensifying and broadening their knowledge and pitching skills.

The Bootcamp will take place on the 5th and 6th of October at the ICAB incubator and on the 7th of October at the International Auditorium in Brussels, Belgium.
