The Italian Tech Tour 2017 is promoting innovation and investment for the best technology companies of Italy and showcasing the regions best investment opportunities.

 

The Italian Tech Tour is taking place in Rome on September 11-12, 2017 and will be a meeting platform for 26 Italian companies selected by a Selection Committee  and will have 80+ Italian and international venture capital and corporate investors and partners attending the 2 day event.

 

The first Italian Tech Tour took place in 2003, and since then the Italian ecosystem has rapidly changed and brought great tractions to the country.  New tax breaks as well as more sources of funding for CEOs have been introduced, and as a results more foreign investors have been attracted to Italy.

 

Companies that have presented in the past editions of the Tech Tour have significantly grown their business. As an example, Octo Telematics was awarded as Tech Tour Growth Company 2016 and has continued to be involved in the Italian Tech Tour as a sponsor for the 2016 edition. As stated by its CEO, Fabio Sbianchi, “It was a big satisfaction to win the Main Award 2016 after 15 years of hard work to make the company successful.”
